Howard A Weitzman, a founding principal, has 40 years of acquisition and development experience in most of the major markets and with virtually every class of real estate. He previously held senior level positions at National Re/Sources, Commercial Developments International East Inc., Laramie Dawson, the Rouse Company and the investment banking arm of Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Weitzman is a frequent speaker at industry conferences including the Urban Land Institute, the New York State Economic Development Council, the U.S. Department of Energy National Forum. the Brownfield Development Institute and Forbes Magazine’s Super Environmental Conference. He also participated in the formulation of the Third Regional Plan, Governor Cuomo Task Force For Coastal Development and Governor Pataki’s Housing Transition Team.
Mr. Weitzman is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the New York District Council’s Management Committee and Advisory Board. In addition, he is Co-Chair of the Program Committee. A graduate of Syracuse University, he holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
