MDP Ventures invests actively in young impactful companies by providing growth equity and utilizing a merchant banking approach. Meridian team works extensively with Company management during due diligence to de-risk the investment and to best position the company for success. These efforts continue post capitalization, as our team remains actively involved in business development, corporate structuring and overall strategy.

CANCER VACCINE

Meridian placed an angel investment in Vaccinogen, the maker of Oncovax, a cancer vaccine. The investment will assist Vaccinogen to bring its product through the final research and development stages and subsequently to market.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Meridian recapitalized a prominent US affordable housing owner and manager. The equity investment provided immediate strong cash flows, solid downside protection via federally guaranteed rents, and significant expansion potential. The recapitalization positions the company to continue its acquisition strategy in affordable housing across the US.

PatienTech LLC (d.b.a BodiTrak) track is a diversified sensor technology company which manufactures and markets sensors and sensor-enabled products using its patented smart fabric material. It’s technology is the only commercialized fabric-only sensor (stretchable, flexible, breathable, mass-produced) able to read and communicate pressure and stretch data in real time.
